Are Wiggles durable enough for active kids and playgrounds?

Absolutely. They are flexible by design but built for play! We use high-quality, resilient materials, reinforced stitching, and a tough (but flexible) sole. Our reinforced toe guard is specifically designed to handle playground adventures, from climbing and running to dragging feet on a scooter. They are made to last until they're happily outgrown.

My child is used to thick, stiff shoes. Will they need time to adjust?

For most children, the switch is seamless. They immediately love the feeling of freedom! For some, especially those used to very rigid shoes, a gradual transition can be helpful. You can start with an hour or two of wear a day and slowly increase the time. This allows their feet to engage and adjust at a comfortable pace

Why don't Wiggles shoes have arch support? I thought kids needed that.

That’s a great question - and one we hear often! While some shoes come with rigid arch support, many foot health experts believe that letting kids' feet move freely can support natural development. Wiggles are designed to give young feet room to move, flex, and grow without restriction - which may help promote stronger movement patterns over time.

How do I find the right size? Are they different from traditional shoe sizes?

Getting the perfect fit is easy! Because our shoes are foot-shaped (wider at the toes), they don't always align with traditional sizing. To find the best size, please refer to the Size Chart located on each product page. We recommend measuring your child's foot from their heel to the tip of their longest toe and matching that measurement to our chart. For growing feet, we suggest adding about 1cm (or 0.4 inches) to their measurement to ensure there is comfortable room for growth.
